Southern Quality

The South’s best kept secret, should be part of your wardrobe.  Founder Judy Hill started the brand “High Cotton” based out of Raleigh, NC in 2010, as her son Cameron was a medical school student at The Univ. of Virginia.  Due to many doctors wearing ties that could carry bacteria from patient to patient, Judy and her team developed the perfect solution for her son and doctors alike.

As I was speaking with Judy, she introduced me to their line of washable cotton bow ties.  High Cotton was the first all cotton bow tie company produced in the country.  With the south harvesting quality cotton,  Cameron and his colleagues could still be stylish in and out of the hospital.  With a growing niche of customers awed by this product, the brand has grown to include a boys bow tie line, cummerbund sets, pocket squares, wool and linen neckwear “can’t be washed”, and t-shirts promoting the “made in the south” pride which Judy has for High Cotton.

As the company continues to grow, customers can find High Cotton in over 30 independent mens stores, such as Hunter & Coggins in Ashveville, NC, and Oak Hall in Memphis , TN.  The company also has  a great e-commerce website.  Take the time and get to know “HIGH COTTON”
