Travel light- Part 1

If you could travel anywhere, where would you go? What’s stopping you? What will you pack? When LaToya & I fly, we don’t check bags, we do carry-on. We pack light, and avoid lines. Recently we travelled across the border. No, not that border, Montreal, Canada. Knowing the size of most carry- on luggage pieces, how does one pack for such an adventure.

In addition to my travel basics, and what I wore on the plane, here’s how I maximized my bag.

  • Pair of sneakers & shoes
  • Two pair of jeans, one dress trouser
  • Two sweaters
  • Two watches
  • One sportcoat
  • Four buttondown shirts
  • Two belts

Packing light is always easier traveling to a warmer climate, but when a colder destination is involved, you have to put some thought into what you bring. Layering looks together can be fun, if you are comfortable mixing and matching what you pack.
